THE HIDDEN EDGE BUSINESS ASSESSMENT
See what your business already knows.
Hidden Edge brings together confidential employee perspectives to reveal the friction, risk, untapped capability, and improvement opportunities that are difficult to see from the top.
Confidential voice or text interviews · 15–30 minutes · For businesses with up to 75 employees
WHAT THE BUSINESS CANNOT SEE
The business looks different from where the work happens.
Employees encounter the handoffs, workarounds, repeated decisions, customer friction, and hidden dependencies that rarely appear in a dashboard or leadership meeting. One observation may be anecdotal. Patterns across the organization are evidence.
- 01What leadership sees
Results, priorities, projects, customer issues
- 02What employees experience
Workarounds, delays, dependencies, repeated decisions
- 03What Hidden Edge reveals
Patterns, priorities, readiness, practical next steps
Hidden Edge brings those signals together without turning the assessment into a survey or a performance review.
ONE ASSESSMENT. A DECISION-READY VIEW.
What the assessment gives you
A focused, organization-wide assessment for small and growing businesses with up to 75 employees.
- 01
Confidential employee interviews
Guided voice or text conversations that adapt to each employee’s answers and take approximately 15–30 minutes.
- 02
Organization-wide analysis
Patterns are evaluated across roles and perspectives to separate isolated comments from meaningful organizational signals.
- 03
5–8 prioritized opportunities
A focused set of improvement opportunities, ordered by practical value, urgency, and readiness—not an overwhelming list of observations.
- 04
Personnel & readiness analysis
A leadership-level view of capability, alignment, dependencies, change readiness, and where execution may need support.
- 05
Executive report
A concise, decision-ready report that explains what we found, why it matters, and what your leadership team should consider next.
- 06
Executive results session
A private working session to interpret the findings, challenge assumptions, and decide which opportunities deserve action.

HOW IT RUNS
- Align
- Invite
- Analyze
- Decide
We align the assessment with leadership, invite employees to confidential voice or text interviews, identify organization-wide patterns, and work through the priorities with you.
DESIGNED FOR CANDOR
Confidential input. Organization-level findings.
Employees can speak candidly without being individually evaluated or quoted in the executive report. Leadership receives patterns, priorities, and context—not a transcript dump.
A RECENT ASSESSMENT
A clearer operating picture in three days
In a recent engagement with a 25-person business, Hidden Edge gathered perspectives across the organization and delivered an executive-ready view of the company’s most important opportunities in three days. The result gave leadership a more complete picture of what was working, where friction was accumulating, and what deserved attention first.
- 25 people
- organization-wide perspective
- 3 days
- from launch to decision-ready findings
- Focused priorities
- not a backlog of disconnected comments
Engagement timing and findings vary based on scheduling, participation, organization size, and scope. This example is illustrative and is not a promise of identical timing or results.
EXPERIENCE BEFORE THE AI CYCLE
Executive judgment, strengthened by technology—not replaced by it.
Hidden Edge combines experienced executive judgment, longstanding AI experience, and Sovrain operating intelligence to turn employee perspective into practical leadership priorities.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Clarity & Action Guarantee
Your assessment will deliver the agreed interviews and analysis, a clear executive report, and 5–8 prioritized opportunities your leadership team can evaluate and act on. If, after the executive results session, you do not believe the assessment has given you meaningful new clarity and practical next steps, tell us within seven days. We will complete one additional round of focused analysis and revise the report at no additional cost. If the revised work still does not meet that standard, we will refund your assessment fee.
We guarantee the quality and usefulness of our work—not business outcomes that depend on decisions and execution after the assessment.
Questions owners ask before they begin
Owners and leaders of small and growing U.S. businesses that want a clearer view of operational friction, risk, capability, and improvement opportunities. The standard engagement covers organizations with up to 75 employees.
An executive report, 5–8 prioritized improvement opportunities, a personnel and readiness analysis, and a private executive results session to interpret the findings and decide what deserves action first.
Yes. Responses are treated as confidential, and the executive report presents organization-level patterns rather than attributing comments to individuals. Exact participation and data-handling language is confirmed with leadership before launch.
The complete standard assessment is $2,500 for one U.S. organization with up to 75 employees: alignment, interview access, organization-wide analysis, the executive report, and the results session. Any unusual scope is discussed before work begins.
If the completed assessment does not give you meaningful new clarity and practical next steps, notify us within seven days of the results session. We will perform one focused round of additional analysis and revise the report at no charge. If it still falls short, we refund the fee.
